Employer-Sponsored Retirement Plans
An employer-sponsored retirement plan, such as a 403(b) or 457(b), can supplement your pension and Social Security benefits at retirement. Contributions are made pre-tax through automatic salary reductions and any earnings are tax-deferred. Some employer plans also offer a Roth after-tax salary reduction option.
Horace Mann is an approved provider in many employer-sponsored retirement plans. If your employer has selected Horace Mann as a provider, we offer diversified investment options from which you can build an investment portfolio. You may also have the option to rollover assets from other eligible retirement plans, such as an IRA or a 457(b) or 403(b) plan, into your account.
